PlayStation ya tiene Game Pass… más o menos. Si has estado pendiente de las noticias, sabrás que Sony anunció cambios a su servicio de PlayStation Plus, que básicamente se resumen en dos nuevas categorías que te dan acceso a un catálogo de juegos de la PS1, PS2, PS3 y PS4 para jugar en las últimas generaciones de consolas, de manera similar a Nintendo Online y (para decepción de muchos) con la omisión de muchos de los elementos más importantes de Game Pass.
Iniciando la semana, PlayStation ha presentado la lista de juegos que harán parte de este catálogo cuando el servicio finalmente esté activo. Una primera leída nos da la sensación de que no está mal… pero sin duda no es una selección de títulos que de inmediato te motivan a pagar por las categorías extra.
Por ahora, la versión extra es la que más llama la atención. El catálogo de juegos de la PS4 y 5 es sólido con juegos como God of War, Bloodborne, Horizon Zero Dawn, Shadow of the Collosus o Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Las cosas se ven menos interesantes al mirar la lista de los juegos clásicos.
La razón está en que hay muchos juegos de nicho que seguramente los fans más devotos de los videojuegos reconocerán, la selección en general carece de la mayoría de estrellas que los fans de PlayStation esperarían para poder pagar un servicio de este tipo.
Si tuviéramos que hacer una comparación, la lista actual es como si Nintendo hubiera lanzando su catálogo de juegos online sin un título de Mario o The Legend of Zelda.
